Doctors and scientists also spoke out, as did parents of healthy unvaccinated children.  A little over two years ago, I shared a post entitled, "I called myself a vaccine Nazi..." which featured a video interview with James Neuenschwander, MD speaking out about vaccines. This past week, "Dr. Nue", who has been in practice for over 30 years and is double Board Certified in Emergency and Integrative Medicine, gave a powerful, no nonsense, reprimand to the members of ACIP (Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices) at their October meeting at CDC Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. James Neuenschwander MD addresses the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices with his severely critical public comment detailing how ACIP’s policies are hurting our children and families. We need more physicians like you, who have the humility and integrity to admit that the very little they were taught about vaccines in medical school was wrong; and the courage to speak out to protect children and families from further harm. “…You are truly brainwashed when you go through medical school. You’re chronically sleep deprived. You’re fed the same lines over and over again. You’re trained through repetition. You’re not trained to question anything. I always say there’s a huge difference between a medical education and a law education. They teach you law by asking you questions. They say, what do you think about, Smith vs. the state of Columbia or something; and whatever your answer is they’re then going to ask you about an alternative position. It doesn’t happen that way in medicine. You go to the mountaintop, the Guru bestows the knowledge upon you and your job is to merely regurgitate that knowledge while you’re practicing medicine. You never question what you’re doing until you realize what you’re doing doesn’t work and maybe there’s better answers out there. So these folks, I don’t think any of them are evil. I think they are all great people and they have devoted their lives to preventing infectious disease. That’s why they’re there. Alright, but because they’re so focused in on whether two DTaPs is better than a DTaP and two DTaPs is better than a DT and three DTaPs or whatever the study is, they completely forget about health. I mean this is all about how do we improve the health of our children, of our adults, that’s really what we should be about and they’re not even looking at that…We are so trained to look at the minutiae that we ignore the big picture. The vaccine works, we don’t have measles. We don’t have measles, who cares about autism? Who cares about auto-immunity? About 50 vaccine risk awareness advocates (several of whom are pictured above) traveled to CDC Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, at their own expense, to address members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) during the public comment segment of the October 24-25, 2018 meeting. ACIP meets three times per year to make vaccine recommendations that are ultimately added to the vaccine schedule; and then mandated for school, work situations, military, etc. Once vaccines are added to the CDC schedule, the pharmaceutical company that made the vaccine and the doctor or healthcare provider that administered the vaccine are not liable if you or your child is injured or dies from that vaccine. "For 30 years, the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) broke the law regarding vaccine safety, and no one noticed or cared. Then two men came along and discovered the scandal..." Mandate for safer childhood vaccines (a) General rule In the administration of this part and other pertinent laws under the jurisdiction of the Secretary, the Secretary shall-- (1) promote the development of childhood vaccines that result in fewer and less serious adverse reactions than those vaccines on the market on December 22, 1987, and promote the refinement of such vaccines, and (2) make or assure improvements in, and otherwise use the authorities of the Secretary with respect to, the licensing, manufacturing, processing, testing, labeling, warning, use instructions, distribution, storage, administration, field surveillance, adverse reaction reporting, and recall of reactogenic lots or batches, of vaccines, and research on vaccines, in order to reduce the risks of adverse reactions to vaccines. (b) Task force (1) The Secretary shall establish a task force on safer childhood vaccines which shall consist of the Director of the National Institutes of Health, the Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, and the Director of the Centers for Disease Control. (2) The Director of the National Institutes of Health shall serve as chairman of the task force. (3) In consultation with the Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines, the task force shall prepare recommendations to the Secretary concerning implementation of the requirements of subsection (a). (c) Report Within 2 years after December 22, 1987, and periodically thereafter, the Secretary shall prepare and transmit to the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Labor and Human Resources of the Senate a report describing the actions taken pursuant to subsection (a) during the preceding 2-year period. (July 1, 1944, ch. 373, title XXI, §2127, as added Pub. L. 99–660, title III, §311(a), Nov. 14, 1986, 100 Stat. 3777; amended Pub. L. 100–203, title IV, §4302(b)(1), Dec. 22, 1987, 101 Stat. 1330–221; Pub. L. 101–239, title VI, §6601(q), Dec. 19, 1989, 103 Stat. 2292.) Growing up and going to school in the 50's and 60's, our class sizes were quite large with one teacher per class. In my case, going to Catholic school, the teacher was always a woman and often, that woman was a nun. We didn't have classes for children with special needs and I didn't know anyone with autism or anyone who would now be considered on the autism spectrum. When I started researching vaccines in the 80's, there was very little mention of autism in the many books and articles I read; and it wasn't until 2007 that I met a woman whose little boy displayed autistic like behavior and was later diagnosed with autism. His mother believes that his autism was triggered by a flu shot she received during pregnancy. That little guy's picture is on my desk and continues to inspire me each day to keep sharing information so that parents can make well informed vaccine decisions.  On April 27th, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released its latest autism spectrum disorder (ASD) estimates. According to their new figures, as of 2014, 1 in 59 eight year olds has been identified with autism spectrum disorder with ASD being about four times more common in boys than in girls. (Read more here and here.) According to the CDC's own figures, In the year 2000, that number was 1 in 150. In 1970 that number was 1 in 10,000. Watch the brief video below from Robert F. As outlined in the CDC's Increasing Awareness and Uptake of Influenza Immunization/Recipe for Fostering Public Interest and High Vaccine Demand "creating concern, anxiety and worry" with the help of medical experts, public health authorities and the media, is an integral part of an aggressive campaign to scare people into getting the flu vaccine. We've all probably heard, read or watched "scary" news reports about how deadly the flu is this year and why you should get a flu shot. What they often fail to mention is that most, if not all, of the victims had received the flu shot and/or were treated with flu drugs; and that there are more vaccine injury claims related to the flu vaccine than any other vaccine. Take steps to promote optimum health and prevent flu naturally; and before you rush out to get a flu vaccine, which even mainstream sources admit is only 10% effective; or take a drug like Tamiflu, do your homework. Simply "trusting" your doctor or one-sided fear based media reports is not enough. Use the resources at the end of this post to help make sure you are making an informed decision and not one based on irrational fear. After watching, perhaps you'll agree that things might not be quite as scary as we are being led to believe.
