“Warrior Mom/Warrior Doctor”

Cammy Benton, MD finished medical school in 2000. She is the mother of three and describes herself as a "Warrior Mom/Warrior Doctor. She is the founder of Benton Integrative Medicine; and a founding director of Physicians for Informed Consent. 

​In her article, "Why This Doctor Doesn't Get Her Flu Shot!" and in the video below, she shares -- as many other doctors have -- that she did not learn about vaccine ingredients and adverse effects ​in medical school. Instead, she and her fellow medical students were told that vaccines are safe and effective; to follow the vaccine schedule; and to ignore vaccine package inserts. She tells how they were taught a "sense of urgency" that if you don't vaccinate, children will die; and that medical students are expected to accept what they are told without question...and they do.

She saw her own health and the health of family members deteriorate after flu vaccines; so when the group practice for whom she worked mandated the flu vaccine for staff members, she asked for scientific evidence that the mandate actually reduced death rates from flu. Neither her superior, the major health organizations that her superior trusted for vaccine mandate guidelines, nor the CDC could give her that information. They were all simply doing what they were told to do. It was then that Dr. Benton started  researching the flu vaccine and quickly learned that safety and efficacy data was severely lacking. Despite all she had learned, and even though she was a doctor, her "vaccines are safe and effective" indoctrination made her feel powerless and intimidated when it came to vaccinating her own children; so she followed the CDC recommended schedule. It wasn't until all three of her own children suffered adverse effects from vaccines that she connected the dots and finally saw that vaccines can and do cause serious harm.

Dr. Benton admits that most doctors choose not to look at the evidence.
