Medical journalist and Vaxxed producer, Del Bigtree, sums up John Oliver's recent HBO episode on vaccines beautifully with the statement, "He got it dead wrong." Unfortunately, Mr. Oliver delivered quite a bit of misleading information to his viewers. In the HighWire video below, Del, responds to the comedian/talk show host, point by point, setting the facts straight.  It's unfortunate that Mr. Oliver didn't talk with Del first or research beyond the CDC website, before regurgitating many of the same "safe and effective" sound bytes we hear over and over again from the vaccine industry and pro-vaccine advocates. Take time to watch. You'll learn a lot. Vaccine injury and death are real and frequent. Children are harmed and families are left to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives. Perhaps comedians like Mr. Oliver should stop trying to turn this very serious topic into a laughing matter; or at the very least, become better informed, at which point they would find out for themselves, that the harm and heartache vaccines can and do cause are just not funny at all.
