Several important vaccine related issues were discussed, including how pharmaceutical financial influence shuts down important vaccine safety discussions in the media; liability protection for vaccine manufacturers causing a lack of incentive for safe products; and the lack of adequate vaccine safety testing by our Federal agencies. Quit Using Immunocompromised People to Promote Your Vaccine Agenda...a post by Ashlyn Washington6/28/2017  Those who question vaccine safety and choose not to vaccinate are often accused of being selfish and told they pose a threat to those who cannot be vaccinated. Vaccine induced herd immunity is a myth that pro-vaccine advocates often use to guilt parents into vaccinating. In reality, it is the recently vaccinated who actually pose a threat to the immunocompromised. (See links on Herd Immunity and Vaccine Shedding at end of this post.) I recently shared a post by Ashlyn Washington, entitled, "I’m a mom who is listening to what the CDC says about vaccines..." In the post below, Ashlyn who describes herself as "a tired mom to two kids, one with autism and an immunodeficiency" addresses the issue of herd immunity not only as a mom who has done independent research, but also from personal experience. Today, I’m going to pretend we can trust the data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website to make decisions on whether or not to vaccinate. I’m going to ignore the fact that a CDC scientist revealed that he and his colleagues committed scientific fraud by omitting and destroying statistically significant data showing risks associated with vaccines, because it has already been documented here, here, and here. I’m also going to pretend that every child who has a reaction to a vaccine has a parent who realizes and reports it. I know that’s impossible since most people haven’t perused the government website that discusses injuries occurring 42 days after vaccination. I’m also going to assume that all physicians have been trained to identify vaccine injuries, even though I have yet to meet a single doctor who was educated on this in medical school. The CDC states on their website “Like any medication, vaccines can cause side effects. The most common side effects are mild. On the other hand, many vaccine-preventable disease symptoms can be serious, or even deadly. Even though many of these diseases are rare in this country, they still occur around the world and can be brought into the U.S. putting unvaccinated children at risk.”
This commentary is parroted by the majority of pediatricians, journalists, and those who fancy themselves “pro-science,” with no attention to the statistics and extensive fine print on the CDC’s website proving otherwise. The table below was compiled using information from the CDC’s official website. 
When I started researching vaccines almost 30 years ago, there was no internet, so finding information about the potential dangers of vaccines was a bit more challenging; but as a young mother on a mission, I found quite a bit and learned a lot. Thanks to social media it is much easier to connect with others, share information and be informed. In recent years, there have been many books, videos, documentaries like Trace Amounts, VAXXED and more; as well as docu-series like the recent Vaccines Revealed to educate those who are willing to consider that vaccines might not be as safe and effective as we have been led to believe. If you've seen the documentary VAXXED From Coverup to Catastrophe; viewed the film trailer; or read my VAXXED related posts, you know that CDC Whistleblower, Dr. William Thompson, came forward in 2014 stating that the CDC has committed scientific fraud by manipulating findings and then destroying evidence in connection with a 2001 study (published in 2004) on the link between the MMR vaccine and Autism. That fraud has led to an exponential rise in autism in the U.S. and around the world. In July 2015, Congressman Bill Posey of Florida implored the House of Representatives to subpoena Dr. Thomas and conduct a full congressional hearing; however, that has not happened to date. Recently another group of CDC scientists have spoken out about corruption within the CDC. In the video below, Alvin Moss, MD, a Professor of Medicine at West Virginia University School of Medicine, who has taught Medical Ethics for over 25 years, speaks out about vaccine safety, informed consent, and medical ethics. He also discusses why physicians are afraid to speak out about vaccines. Dr. Moss practices Internal Medicine; is a Nephrologist and does Palliative Care. He speaks out, not in an official role as a professor in the School of Medicine, but as someone, who has done independent research, is concerned about vaccine injury, and who, along with his wife, is personally aware of 12 cases of vaccine injury including a severely autistic vaccine injured neighbor. In the opening of this video, Dr. Moss refers to CDC scientists who have come forward to voice their concerns about the integrity of research being conducted at the CDC, and conflicts of interest that are coming before the safety of the public. The concern is, are people properly informed? As, as somebody who teaches medical ethics, I'm very concerned that people receive informed consent; that they really know the benefits and the risks . . . These are major risks for what usually are mild illnesses. Measles is a mild illness. Chickenpox is a mild illness . . . So unfortunately, we are having major injuries; like, like autism is a lifelong injury for something that itself would have been a mild illness. So I think it is a matter of informed consent that people be told and then be able to decide whether they want it or not. Unfortunately for children attending public school, it's mandatory and so they don't get a choice which isn't fair." " . . . There are still things in the vaccines that can be harmful. They have things like mercury in some, aluminum in others, polysorbate 80 . . . things that can cause infertility . . . there are viruses in some . . . There are all sorts of things where we don't really know the long-term safety and yet they're being done to people without sufficient data sufficient safety studies to assure us that they will be safe." ". . . I'm coming at it from the standpoint of being somebody who teaches medical ethics and is concerned about it. I don't think people should be forced to undergo something where we don't know for sure it's safe, and they haven't been given adequate consent." Some senior management officials at CDC are clearly aware and even condone these behaviors. Others see it and turn the other way. Some staff are intimidated and pressed to do things they know are not right. We have representatives from across the agency that witness this unacceptable behavior. It occurs at all levels and in all of our respective units. These questionable and unethical practices threaten to undermine our credibility and reputation as a trusted leader in public health. Since mainstream media rarely if ever reports on this sort of thing, you may not know that on August 15, 2016, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) published a proposed ruling that threatens to detain, quarantine, vaccinate and electronically track you, if you show signs of illness such as cough, rash, frequent trips to the bathroom, etc., while traveling.  NVIC's (National Vaccine Information Center) Barbara Loe Fisher, explains further in the video below. Read the actual proposed ruling, "Control of Communicable Diseases" and look for the link at the upper right of the Federal Register page to submit your comment before October 14, 2016. (You can also read comments previously submitted to help you in formulating your comment.) It is urgent that we ALL take action to oppose this proposed ruling. Read "Control of Communicable Diseases" A Proposed Rule by the Health and Human Services Department as it appears on the Federal Register. “This is a clear case of federal government overreach,” The proposed law change particularly focuses on measles. “The ongoing persistence of measles in the United States provides a good example of the need for this NPRM,” states the CDC, and “every case of measles in the United States is considered a public health emergency because of its extremely high transmissibility.”
"If the NPRM (Notice of Proposed Rule Making) becomes law, it will affect American and non-American travelers entering the U.S. or traveling between states, particularly on commercial airlines and ships. The CDC is proposing to enlist commercial airline and other public transportation personnel to step up surveillance on and report "unwell" passengers with rashes, cough, diarrhea and other symptoms of illness." Read full press release. If the NPRM becomes law, it appears U.S. health officials could hold a person in custody for 72 hours without the right to contact an attorney to appeal the detention. Detainees could be asked to sign a contract with the CDC that gives consent to the “public health measures” being applied to the adult or a minor child, which may include “quarantine, isolation, conditional release, medical examination, hospitalization, vaccination, and treatment.” However, the NPRM states that “the individual’s consent shall not be considered a prerequisite to any exercise of any authority” by the CDC. Went to see Vaxxed again. Took my husband and one of my dearest friends. This movie yet again had me bawling, crying so much I used a paper napkin in a vain attempt to dry my face. But I feel NO SHAME. I watched everyone around me, including my husband, who never cries, openly sobbing as we saw footage of the older vaccine injured kids.
I cannot tell you how it feels to wonder if your child will ever talk, will stop hurting himself and us for no apparent reason, and to wonder if he is sad or hurting. To go to an appointment of some kind nearly every day. To go broke paying for said appointments bc insurance doesn't cover autism (yes, really!). To lose your whole extended family and most of your friends....
The only words I have for this are SOUL-SHATTERING and HEART WRENCHING. This is all compounded because I handed him over for all those vaccines when he was sickly and under weight. I bought into the LIES THE CDC has pedaled to all of us...as a physician, I consider the years of education and hard work invested in my career, and I wonder how many other medical "facts" I have used in my practice on my patients which may in fact be very false and based on no scientific data? 
What has happened to my son has absolutely changed the way I practice Medicine. I now really LISTEN to my patients. I vow NEVER to make anyone feel as dismissed and uncared for as we did leaving our pediatrician's office on follow up visits, when Dr. would make a point of near ridiculing me for thinking the encephalopathy had anything to do with the diagnosis of autism. This is what he said the last time we saw him:
"There is no way. Vaccines don't cause reactions like that...besides the RESEARCH (CDC??) proved there was no relationship between autism and vaccinations...your son has autism. There is no cure...IT WOULD BE SMART TO PLAN FOR HIS FUTURE, LIKE A GROUP HOME." How would YOU react? Medicine needs a revolution. And it's now. The first picture is of my child the night he nearly died from vaccine injury. He now has apraxia, autism, Severe Immunodeficiency Syndrome, Metabolic Dysfunction, Hypotonia, and suspected Seizures. Second picture -- I am: first an exhausted MOTHER TO A SEVERELY VACCINE INJURED CHILD, second a physician who sees things a lot differently now.
