The VAXXED team recently interviewed San Antonio District Attorney Nico LaHood and his wife Davida who are parents of a vaccine injured autistic son. Their oldest daughter was also vaccine injured. It's not often that a public figure speaks out about vaccine injury; but when they do, it makes an impact. (See Robert DeNiro on the April 13, 2016 and April 18, 2016 Today Show.) Listen to the VAXXED interview and also the Fox 29 San Antonio interview below. At the end of this post, read DA Lahood's statement to address reactions to the interview. On behalf of Vaccine Choice Prayer Community, thank you District Attorney and Mrs. LaHood for your integrity, your courage and for living your faith. God bless you and your beautiful family. Nicholas "Nico" LaHood Criminal District Attorney of Bexar County, San Antonio, Texas When asked about a possible solution to the vaccine injury/autism epidemic, DA LaHood responds that the answer to this "barbaric" situation is education. Quoting Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge!" he stresses that the problem is due to ignorance, unintentional ignorance; and no one in positions of authority, are doing their job to educate us. Please educate yourself and others. Watch, listen, learn, share. "One of my closest friends, Jorge... he used to be, as they say, on the bench, for Merck. He's a scientist, he was in clinical development. He has four kids, and they didn't vaccinate any one of their kids. ... He goes, 'You can't prove to me, as a scientist, that this (vaccinations) is good for your child.' That's what he said. And so he said I'm not going to do it. And I seek truth. I mean, I'm a prosecutor for a living. So I look for truth, I have to follow evidence wherever it leads me. I don't have a bias. So I took that same approach in looking at this issue. And when I started listening to what George was saying in our discussion and me doing my own research, and then hearing about other families...like, man that's exactly what we're going through. And I was angry for a lot of reasons. I was angry because I literally hate deception. At the core of my spirit, I hate deception. And the reason why I do is because my faith, my God hates deception...Proverbs 6:16 talks about what God hates and he hates lies and he hates deception. And what has been promulgated on us as a community, even by our own damn government is deceptive. Whether it's intentional or not, the result is the same. Here's what I tell people...The malicious person and the weak person give you the same result. It doesn't matter their intent, at some point. The malicious person is trying to hurt you. The weak person is so weak they'll let the malicious person hurt you and won't warn you about it. So the result is the same, you get hurt. So it doesn't matter to me whether a governmental official is so weak or they're malicious or governed by greed, and any company either way...it doesn't matter to me, because the result is the same." Nico LaHood, Criminal District Attorney of Bexar County, San Antonio, Texas. ". . . and then Stephanie, his wife, being a nurse, and her telling me as a mother, you know, I'm a nurse, I'm not vaccinating my kids; and, and Jorge, you know, telling us about his, his job and being involved with it and knowing what was going on, and he's like, I would never put this stuff in my kids." ~ Davida LaHood Click here, or image below, for the equally powerful "Full Interview with Nico & Davida LaHood" by Fox 29 San Antonio. The video appears about midway down the page. “ . . . you know as people of faith, James 4:17 says that if you know the good you’re suppose to do, and you don’t do it, then for you, that’s sin...I won’t sit quiet, I won’t. I want people to have information and what’s wrong with that? We have nothing to gain. We have everything politically to lose which I’m fine; the DA is not my identity...Our son was not born autistic, I assure you that, and damn anybody that tries to put that on me. I promise you I’ll tell them straight to their face, period; and I want people to make their own decisions, but just have information and quit being deceived. Take off the blinders like we were and just ask questions. Once you ask the questions and you get your answers, man do what you want, God bless you.” San Antonio District Attorney Nico LaHood There has been a lot of attention, criticism, and support coming locally, nationally and even internationally regarding my opinion that there may be a link between autism and vaccines. My wife and I have a very personal opinion and here is the interview that was conducted by the Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe Team as they traveled through San Antonio, Texas on their nationwide tour. I was honored to visit with them and join the effort to share my family's story. My wife, Davida, and I have four beautiful children: Maya, Michael, Leah & Zaiter. Our second child, Michael, was named after my older brother, who was taken from us in 1996. Many people have chimed in claiming to know bits and pieces of my life story - so let me set the record straight. I will address a variety of comments, regardless of how ridiculous they are. Yes, I made a poor choice as a young man, and was arrested for selling drugs. I received deferred adjudication (not convicted), committed myself to the Lord, and dedicated my life to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves by, at first, serving as a defense attorney zealously defending my clients. I decided to run for Bexar County Criminal District Attorney in San Antonio, Texas because I felt a calling to serve others, specifically children, who are a heritage and precious gift from the Lord. As a prosecutor, I see horrific situations, each day, where children are mentally, physically, sexually abused and neglected by vile individuals. I hear stories of loving parents, questioned by agencies, because they make a certain decision, to not vaccinate their children, and are quickly labeled as negligent. Whether or not people agree with my opinion, I urge everyone to view the documentary and form your own opinion with the information presented. I am simply advocating for four things: 1. Parents educate yourselves for the sake of your precious children. Stay away from rhetoric and look at hard facts. 2. Let doctors be doctors. They should be able to take a position for or against vaccines. It is a shame that, if they do not support vaccinations, they are ostracized, slandered, and chastised by licensing boards and certain segments of the public. 3. Do not force vaccines on our parents. Keep exemptions and parents rights alive. It should be a parents choice “if” and “when” they will vaccinate. 4. Ask your legislators to demand the same phase 1 safety studies that all pharmaceutical drugs go through. That is not happening with the vast majority of vaccines and no one is asking why. The CDC should be mandated to show us objective research that proves which position is right or wrong. I will zealously defend our children. I will zealously defend the rights of parents to protect their children from something, they believe, may have a link to harming their children, unless it is proven otherwise. In the end, you have a right to vaccinate or not; it is your choice. Lastly, if anyone is going to criticize me for supporting the information contained in the documentary, Vaxxed, I humbly suggest they watch it first, then advocate an opinion. I’m happy to organize a public showing and discussion with anyone willing. As always, I wish everyone well and hope this conversation continues. God bless you. "For there is nothing hidden that will not become visible, and nothing secret that will not be known and come to light." Luke 8:17
