On Friday April 1st, two of my daughters, my son-in-law and I attended the sold-out 8PM screening of VAXXED From Cover-up to Catastrophe at the Angelika Film Center in NYC, and had the opportunity to meet and talk with Producer, Del Bigtree, Director, Dr. Andrew Wakefield, and Dr. Brian Hooker. Dr. Andrew Wakefield I was honored and yet humbled to tell all three men about Vaccine Choice Prayer Community and let them know that we are praying for each of them and their families and for the success of VAXXED; and I was truly touched by how genuinely grateful they were for our prayers. Del Bigtree even commented on the importance of God being with them on this project. I gave each of them a VCPC card. Dr. Wakefield is holding one in the above photo. Everyone needs to see this film to understand the gravity of the MMR vaccine fraud and the corruption within the CDC that has contributed to the alarming rise in autism -- a problem that not only affects victims and their families but one that threatens our economy and our overall society as well. Over one million cases were diagnosed in 2014. The CDC's own data states 1 in 68 children while some reports now say 1 in 45. In August of 2014, a CDC senior scientist came forward stating that the CDC has known about a link between the MMR vaccine and autism since 2001; and one year later a U.S. Congressman pleads for a congressional hearing; and yet pharmaceutical industry controlled mainstream media remains silent and our government does nothing. That's a stark contrast to a 2015 Disneyland measles outbreak of less than 200 cases (and no deaths) in a U.S. population of over 318 million where that same industry controlled media waged a full-blown campaign to promote fear, demonize parents who choose not to vaccinate their children, while state and federal legislators proposed bills to restrict or eliminate vaccine exemptions along with individual and parental vaccine choice rights. For some of us, VAXXED is a well documented summary and confirmation of what we already know; and for others it is a powerful and effective eye opener. For all of us it is a call to action. If you cannot get to a city where the film is showing; contact theaters in your area and have them bring the film to you; but whatever you do, see VAXXED. Bigtree presents the documents to family medicine practitioner Dr. Rachael Ross and pediatrician Dr. Jim Sears, who are both cheerfully and confidently “pro-vaccine” (as always, I find myself irritated by the ridiculous premise that attitudes around a nuanced subject like vaccines can be reduced to the binary states of “pro-vaccine” and “anti-vaccine”) before reading them and both visibly shaken by what they have read afterward. When Bigtree asks what Dr. Ross would say to the next parent who comes into her office asking about the MMR, she says she would tell the truth. She will not be giving it her own children (Dr. Ross had a baby girl in November of 2015), and she worries about what we are doing to children’s brains. Indeed. She is by no means alone in that."
