Despite these findings, the CDC has denied such a link for more than ten years -- even testifying in past congressional hearings --as children continue to be injected with the MMR vaccine at approximately 15 months of age along with many other vaccines beginning on the first day of life, and often in the womb; while the CDC's own statistics show that autism spectrum disorder affects 1 in 68 children. Other studies and surveys show a rate of 1 in 50, and some scientists predict that one in two children will be diagnosed with autism by the year 2025. Dr. Thompson has turned over approximately 1,000 documents to Congressman Bill Posey of Florida; a detailed official complaint has been sent to the CDC and the U.S. Department of Health; and Dr. Thompson has been granted immunity to testify. There has been a mainstream media blackout of this story and a congressional hearing to investigate further has not been scheduled. While the CDC Whistleblower story and a potential link to the 1 in 68 autism epidemic remains silent; the recent 117 Disneyland measles cases (of which at least 25 were vaccinated) out of a total 169 total cases between January 1 and May 1, 2015 (with zero fatalities) in a U.S. population of 318.9 million people, has generated fear, anger and media attention. As a result, legislators throughout the United States have proposed bills that are being heard at the state level and heading towards approval. If these bills become law as currently proposed, there will be no personal belief exemptions. Religious exemptions will also be eliminated or severely restricted and children will be denied a public school education unless their parents comply with the mandated vaccine schedule. In recent developments, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson of Florida has introduced H.R.2232 - Vaccinate All Children Act of 2015 that will mandate vaccines at the federal level. With adult vaccine schedules being proposed, adults are likely to be targeted as well. Physician Dr. David Brownstein recently contacted Congressman Bill Posey's office to ask why a congressional hearing has not been scheduled. He was told that Congressman Posey does not think his committee has the jurisdiction to investigate this issue; and that he and his staff are trying to determine which committee would be most suitable. Congressman Posey's office strongly suggested that we contact our congressmen and congresswomen and demand that the CDC whistleblower story be investigated; and advised that Posey's office will turn over all documents to the appropriate congressional committee. "Every day Mr. Thompson’s testimony is not heard is another day that more children will be exposed to a vaccine that may be causing the autism epidemic we are currently facing." Dr. David Brownstein Please call your congressman/woman and tell them about the CDC whistleblower story. Tell them that we need a congressional hearing on this. When I reached out to my Congressman's office, Patrick Meehan, his staff did not appear to be familiar with the CDC Whistleblower story. After referring my concerns to his Washington DC office, I was contacted and advised that Congressman Meehan, although concerned about autism, is not a member of the appropriate committee. I was told to contact members of the House Energy & Commerce Committee Congressman Posey’s office understands that this story needs a full hearing. Now, it is our job to get the rest of congress to understand. With pressure from the pharmaceutical industry and perhaps our own government to suppress this story, this will not be easy; but if we don’t take action, the story gets buried; we continue to lose our vaccine choice rights and children and their families continue to suffer. Below is an explanation of what has happened thus far with the falsification of CDC data concerning the MMR vaccine and the staggering increase in autism rates CDC whistleblower, Dr. William Thompson co-authored a 2004 CDC study which claimed the MMR vaccine was not associated with autism. In August 2014, Dr. Thompson admitted that the 2004 CDC study was altered to hide a 240% increase in autism in African American children who were vaccinated before 36 months of age when compared to those vaccinated later. Furthermore, there was a 69% increase risk in autism in all male children who received the MMR vaccine before 36 months. Dr. Thompson turned over approximately 1000 documents to Congressman Bill Posey of Florida. There has been a virtual mainstream media blackout on this story, so it is not surprising that you were not aware of it. A staff member in Congressman Posey’s office recently advised that Mr. Posey does not feel that his committee has the jurisdiction to call a hearing to investigate further. However he is trying to find the appropriate committee and will turn over the documentation to that office. With the current vaccine frenzy that is going on throughout the United States, bills are being proposed to mandate vaccines and eliminate exemptions. It is vitally important that Dr. Thompson testifies before Congress. Dr. Thompson is still employed at the CDC and it is my understanding that he is willing to testify. I respectfully ask that you look into this matter and put pressure on the appropriate committee leadership in charge of these matters to make sure that Dr. Thompson testifies and the matter is investigated fully. This is a national tragedy that will continue to wreak terrible harm on our children if not investigated rigorously. We must address the issue and put pressure on the CDC and the vaccine industry to create safer vaccines and a safer vaccine schedule. We also need to protect vaccine choice rights for those who have deep personal and religious reasons for not vaccinating. Our children are being harmed and we must do everything we can to stop it.
