Measles, the Media and Vaccine Choice Rights

Attempting to keep up with all the recent vaccine related news, especially in light of the Disneyland measles outbreak has become somewhat overwhelming. Information that you will not find in mainstream media is shared regularly on the Vaccine Choice Prayer Community Facebook page, which I invite you to visit.  (You do not have to join the group to access the information; but if you would like to join VCPC, we would love to have you.)  I have fallen behind on sharing information via this website.  So, at least for now, I will share a few recent articles, videos, etc., that I feel are well worth reading, watching and sharing.

Although this  Tedx Talk by investigative journalist,  Sharyl Attkisson, published on February 6, 2015, is not specifically about vaccines, it is very timely  in that it tells the viewer how to separate fact from fiction in the media.

An article by orthopedic surgeon, Lee Hieb, MD, posted February 4, 2015 in which  Dr. Hieb discusses the philosophy and the science of vaccines.

As a board certified pediatrician, I took the same oath as all physicians, “to do no harm.”

The latest media presentation of the measles outbreak at Disneyland as a result of unvaccinated children is very upsetting to me.  We are being fed information that is essentially inaccurate by media journalists - none of whom have medical degrees - which may actually be promoting medical harm to our children. Read full article.
