"The decision to vaccinate is yours alone, but it is a decision that should not be taken lightly or done under duress or pressure by others. Once vaccinated, the potential side-effects cannot be easily undone, if at all. These include death, sudden infant death syndrome, auto-immune disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, allergies, asthma, ADHD, autism, Guillian-Barré Syndrome and other neurological damage." The above statement is taken from an article entitled, "10 Reasons Not to Vaccinate" by Michelle Goldstein and posted on vactruth.com. Click here to read the full article. Your vaccine-related decisions should only be made after careful research from sources other than CDC, mainstream medicine and the pharmaceutical/vaccine industry, whose position could be biased due to financial conflict of interest. You cannot assume that vaccines are safe just because your doctor and our government recommend them. Sadly, too many parents have trusted their doctors and now regret their decision. The mothers and fathers of the children on the "We Remember" page and "Mother's Speak" page are all parents who thought they were doing what was in the best interest of their child. They trusted their doctors and assumed that vaccines were safe. Now, not only do they live with the heartache of having lost a child or having a child with serious mental and physical challenges due to vaccine injury; but many of them carry an unbearable sense of guilt for permitting their child to be vaccinated in the first place. Once pregnant, most parents do quite a bit of research for the best and safest crib, car seat, stroller, day care center, parenting techniques, etc; but many still do not research vaccines. Know that in the United States, vaccine policy is pretty much "one size fits all" based on chronological age, not weight, and your baby's vaccinations will start with Vitamin K and Hepatitis B within hours of birth, even if your baby is born premature; so you need to do your homework before baby arrives. Make sure you know the risks and the failures and weigh them against the benefits in your particular situation. In the United States, your child will be "required" to get 49 does of 14 vaccines before the age of 6. See current vaccine schedule. Not all babies will experience obvious vaccine side effects, but that does not mean that they haven't been affected in some less obvious way; and once vaccinated, the possible side-effects can be serious and permanent. Vaccination is somewhat like a game of Russian Roulette. No one knows if their child will suffer an adverse effect; and if your child does; you will be responsible for taking care of your child's life-long needs. Doctors and vaccine makers can not be held liable; and to submit a claim with The Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) also known as "vaccine court" is difficult and most often not successful. (To learn more about VICP, watch video below.) Thanks to the internet, there are many excellent resources available to help you in your vaccine-related decision making process. Several of them are listed on the "Resources" page of this website. As my mother always use to say, "It's not easy being a parent." I could not agree more. Do your research, "educate before you vaccinate", pray for guidance and encourage other parents and parents to be to do the same. Click here to read "10 Reasons Not to Vaccinate" Congressional Briefing on the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program On November 7th, 2013, members of the vaccine injury community held a briefing for congressional staffers to present many of the problems in the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program in preparation for hearings in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Participants included Professor Mary Holland, Head of Graduate Legal Studies at NYU and co-author of Vaccine Epidemic; and Rolf Hazelhurst, Father in one of the test cases In the Omnibus Autism Proceeding, and Assistant District Attorney General, State of Tennessee, present the case against the VICP and call for reform.
