  In "Why Do Parents Refuse To Vaccinate Their Children?", I shared a video presentation by Dr. Sam Eggertsen in which he talks about the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program and the Omnibus Autism Proceeding. Below is video of the VICP Congressional Briefing that Dr. Eggertsen encourages you to watch. The pharmaceutical industry controls the media and our government as well. The congressional hearing that was scheduled to take place as a result of this briefing was "indefinitely postponed" and has yet to be rescheduled. "Reform had been working closely with vaccine injury families since April of 2013 to put together hearings on the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. Although this briefing was held to educate congressional staffers on the issues surrounding the injustice of the VICP, it was also attended by representatives of the Pharmaceutical lobby. The following week, vaccine interests launched an attack on these families and the hearings. Days later, the families were informed that the hearings were being indefinitely postponed. The Oversight Committee will not commit to a new date for the hearings. Families believe that Pharma may have been successful in preventing the hearings form taking place altogether in order to prevent the pubic from learning of the corruption and inequity in the US Vaccine Program." On November 7th, 2013, members of the vaccine injury community held a briefing for congressional staffers to present many of the problems in the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program in preparation for hearings in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Participants included Professor Mary Holland, JD, Head of Graduate Legal Studies at NYU and co-author of Vaccine Epidemic; and Rolf Hazelhurst, Father in one of the test cases In the Omnibus Autism Proceeding, and Assistant District Attorney General, State of Tennessee. Vaccine injury affects adults as well as children; and with more vaccines in the pipeline and more mandates being proposed and imposed, there will be more injury and death. Frank DeStefano, who runs the division, the vaccine division, and who orchestrated this corruption; he is a criminal and he committed scientific research fraud and he is guilty of injuring all of these people. It comes at a time when Christians and non-christians are facing the very real possibility that they will have to violate their deeply held religious beliefs in exchange for education, employment, medical care and more. Recent hearings in California on SB277 -- a bill to mandate vaccines and eliminate exemptions for children attending public and private schools, day care, etc. -- have been eye-opening for me. I am appalled by what I have heard and seen during legislative hearings where inaccurate information is presented by those in support of vaccine mandates and testimonies of concerned parents, vaccine choice advocates and the vaccine injured community are ignored. 
Our right to refuse vaccines for personal and religious beliefs in the U.S. is under attack at the state and federal level. Defining the word "religion" is difficult; and many laypeople and government officials, don't understand that a deeply held religious belief -- as difficult as it might be to explain -- has to do with a person's relationship with their God and not necessarily the church where they worship or a denomination to which they might belong. In addition, for many of us, a deeply held religious belief is so closely intertwined with our personal, philosophical and moral beliefs, that it can not be separated.
Many catholics, christians and non-christians who are opposed to abortion, often do not know that several vaccines are made using aborted fetal cell lines; and that vaccine ingredients include DNA from aborted fetal cells along with other toxic substances. In addition to the moral implications, adverse health effects including autism are linked to aborted fetal cell vaccines. Learn more here and here.
Despite these findings, the CDC has denied such a link for more than ten years -- even testifying in past congressional hearings --as children continue to be injected with the MMR vaccine at approximately 15 months of age along with many other vaccines beginning on the first day of life, and often in the womb; while the CDC's own statistics show that autism spectrum disorder affects 1 in 68 children. Other studies and surveys show a rate of 1 in 50, and some scientists predict that one in two children will be diagnosed with autism by the year 2025.
